Montana Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan 2024 Update

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Montana Department of Transportation are hosting two virtual public information sessions to provide an annual update on Montana’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan. The update will cover progress, changes, and timeline to deploy federal funding for electric vehicle charging infrastructure under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. NEVI was established through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act signed into law in November 2021.

Each webinar will cover the same information but they are scheduled at different times to allow for as much public participation as possible. Recordings of each webinar will be posted on DEQ's Alternative Fuel & Transportation webpage. You can also find recordings of previous webinars there.

For those interested in providing public comment on the Plan, learn more about the NEVI Formula Program, or about electric vehicle infrastructure in general, please take time to review previous versions of the Montana Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan:

Anyone interested in learning more about electric vehicle charging infrastructure or would like to provide input on charging infrastructure deployment in Montana is encouraged to attend either of the information sessions.

DEQ will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who wish to participate in these meetings or need an alternative accessible format of this notice. If you require an accommodation, contact DEQ to advise us of the nature of the accommodation that you need. Please contact Neal Ullman, Department of Environmental Quality, 1520 E 6th Avenue, Helena, Montana 59601; telephone 406-444-6582; facsimile 406-444-6836; or e-mail to neal.ullman@mt.gov.
