About Drive Electric Montana

Drive Electric Montana is brought to you by Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities. The Drive Electric Initiative is a part of the “Drive Electric USA” program. The Drive Electric website is a one stop shop to learn about electric vehicles and understand how to buy one. The overall Drive Electric Montana campaign bring together all the necessary players, including current EV drivers, communities, utilities, dealerships and more, to help break down the barriers to electric vehicle ownership and use in the state of Montana to ultimately accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. The Drive Electric Montana campaign is led by Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities Project Manager Jesse Therien.

Montana Goals

  • 30,000 registered electric vehicles

  • 3,000 new electric vehicle charging stations by January 2027 (the length of this program)
